Kemer Rafting Tour — Mountain Resort to Mountain River
Kemer's natural advantage for rafting. Nestled between coastal cliffs and Taurus Mountain foothills, Kemer sits closer to mountain wilderness than any purely coastal resort. The Kemer rafting tour capitalizes on this geography — shorter mountain transfers mean fresher energy for actual adventure. Perfect for nature-focused travelers. Hotel pickup from all Kemer areas.
Why Kemer Works for Rafting
Mountain Resort Meets Mountain Activity
Kemer isn't a beach-only destination — mountains dominate the skyline from every hotel. This mountain-adjacent location creates natural synergy with rafting:
Geographic advantages:
— Shorter transfer to Taurus Mountains (90-100 minutes vs. 120+ from Alanya)
— Mountain mindset — guests chose Kemer partly for mountain backdrop
— Nature-focused visitors — cable car, hiking, outdoor activities already popular
— Cooler climate — mountain breezes make summer rafting more comfortable
— Visual connection — see mountains from beach, experience them via rafting
For Kemer guests who appreciate that mountains aren't just scenery — they're accessible.

14 Kilometers Through Protected Canyon
The rafting route traverses Köprülü Canyon National Park — Turkey's designated rafting headquarters where the Köprüçay River cuts through limestone cliffs:
What you'll navigate:
— 10-12 rapids (Class II-III) — manageable adrenaline
— Ancient stone bridges — Roman-era architecture still functional
— Swimming sections — calm pools between rapid sequences
— Canyon walls — 400-meter limestone cliffs with pine coverage
— Wildlife viewing — wild goats on ledges, eagles overhead
— Crystal clarity — see riverbed through water
Water reality: 10-14°C temperature year-round. Glacial melt from mountains you can see from Kemer.
Details: 14 km distance, 2.5 hours with breaks, beginner-friendly with professional guidance

(4.3)Super Erlebnis!
Alles lief sehr gut, bis auf die Tatsache, dass das Quad plötzlich zu Boden geschleudert wurde und wir nicht mehr beschleunigen konnten. Trotzdem war es großartig! Danke x

(3.8)A Good Experience
Overall this was a perfect day out. The river water is freezing, but as long as you go with a decent company it is a safe experience. Vigo Tours and crew did really the good of it. Drinks and extra food on event is a rip off, but as long as you go for a reasonable price ( we paid 25€ each person) it's still a good value for money day out for such an exciting event. We recommend.

(4.3)Perfect choice for 1 day activity
We found Vigo Tours at google and come accross the white water rafting tour page. The price was incredibly cheap comparing of our hotel, and we thought this must be a rip off. We paid €25 per person online at the web site. We quickly received out voucher following the online booking. The web page is really professinal. We were picked up from our hotel gate on time. An air conditioned modern bus took us on 2 short trips to pick up other participants from other hotels. Then we stopped on the way for a break to buy some coffee, tea and drinks. The trip took about 90 minutes and we were then at the location where we were shown an information video and offered to buy a slipper that suits the event (€9) and it's really worth it unless if you have an old sports shoes. We then took the same bus all the way up to the top of the mountain where the event gets start. We left belongings in the bus and the bus locked in front of everybody. We were then asked to walk slowly into the cold river water which was uncomfortable but somehow as entertaining as everyone was laughing when we were slowly going into the cold river water willingly:) Last were distributed into groups by rafts and we started the trip. As we were all amature rafters we spent the next exciting 3-4 hours splashing other rafters with water, big fun! Some of us fell into the river but it was easy to be picked up into the boat again by our guide and other people on raft. We arrived at the end point of the tour and we had some food there (included) waiting for us, not a fancy selection one and some liked it. Remember all of that for €25 so we didn't expect a lot of it. Later on We were offered to buy the event photos and the video and then we were driven back to the hotel with same bus. I highly recommend white water rafting in Antalya, it is a big fun and safe.
