My girlfriend is not as a hardcore birder, so I have to balance things a little bit. Besides fish owl my main target would be the snowcock (and Radde's). From you posts I read it that the owls at the dam have left after the fire last year? Would it be possible to do a tour to your places? I'm still flexible in timing, so this could be anytime from 15th to 20th. Do you know what the weather is like higher up at the moment? I'm afraid there might still be too much snow for the snowcock? I wrote Basar Safak in Camardi, can you recommend any other place where I could ask for snowcock (and Radde's)?
