Day tour from Side to Pamukkale with a visit to Salda lake
The duration of the tour may be longer than stated here, so the tour can be tiring for families with infants and elderly people.
The purpose of the Daily Pamukkale tour from Side is to allow participants to experience the travertines of Pamukkale, the ancient city of Hierpolis and the Roman bath (extra). There is a tour guide on the tour who looks after the participants, but a comprehensive cultural Engish tour guidance is not offered.
Explore the stunning natural wonder of Pamukkale on a full-day tour from any hotel in the Side region. The tour takes you on a scenic route via Salda lake, known as the "Turkish Maldives" for its crystal-clear mineral water. Salda lake is also the deepest lake in Turkey, with a depth of 180 meters. Don't miss the chance to witness the breathtaking beauty of Pamukkale and its surroundings on this unforgettable tour.
Salda Lake is a large body of water located in southwestern Turkey, within the terrain of Salda-Yeşilova basin. The lake was formed during the late Pleistocene era and covers an area of over 537 hectares. It is known for its mesmerizing turquoise color due to the high mineral content in its waters. The lake has no outlet or inflow, and is fed by groundwater from surrounding areas. Its panoramic views are a stunning sight for visitors to the local region.

Pamukkale, which is included in almost all the must-see lists of the world and visited by around 2 million tourists every year, is one of the rarest examples, perhaps the first, of the places where nature plays the role of an artist. The fact that Pamukkale has 17 different hot springs in various colors, from 35 degrees to 100 degrees, has made Pamukkale a point of attraction for centuries.
The discovery of the charm and appeal of Pamukkale, where the white travertines formed as a result of the contact of the thermal waters with the air, form gradual shapes like a frozen waterfall, and sometimes terrace-shaped pools, goes back to the Roman Period.
Side to Pamukkale with Salda Lake: Pamukkale, a natural wonder in Turkey, has been attracting visitors for over two thousand years. The Kingdom of Pergamon recognized the beauty of the travertine terraces and built the city of Hierapolis nearby. The thermal springs of Hierapolis were believed to have healing properties and were frequented by people seeking health and beauty. Today, visitors from all over the world continue to visit the thermal pools for their therapeutic benefits. While you can swim in the same waters as ancient kings and even Cleopatra, it's important to note that this delicate natural wonder is under protection. Visitors are only allowed to walk in certain areas and swim in designated pools to preserve its beauty for generations to come.

(5.0)Interesenting and long
Habe very good and funny guides especially Hüssein but also Viola. Didn’t like the vine testing stop. Would have preferred to stay longer at the destination. Was traveling from 4.30 to 23.30, didn’t take 11 hours like announced.
