When the famous Turkish painter Bedri Rahmi made his blue cruise tour with his friends for the first time in the summer of 1945, he probably understood that the blue cruise tours would be so popular in the years to come. He couldn't have thought otherwise for such a wonderful tour.
Day 1 | Marmaris
Board at 16:30 in Marmaris Port. Briefing, visit city attractions. Dinner on board, late arrivals get simple dinner box. If check-in before 18:30, boat departs to nearest bay for dinner; else stays in Marmaris port.
Consider this when planning arrival. If in Marmaris Port, enjoy Saturday evening; shops, restaurants, cafes, bars along coast and streets.
Day 2 | Ekincik Gulf - Dalyan
After a good breakfast, we head to Ekincik Gulf. Ekincik Bay is popular for diving, so bring snorkeling gear. Consider the Dalyan tour to see Lycian rock tombs and Iztuzu Beach, a turtle nesting site.
Stay overnight in Ekincik Bay, dinner served onboard.
Day 3 | Sunken Bath - Tersane Island - Kızılada
It's best to start the day early with clear waters and smooth seas. Göcek Bay unfolds before us, offering a unique experience. We first visit Batık Hamam, a historical bay with ruins linked to Cleopatra and a Byzantine monastery submerged underwater.
Next, we head to Tersane Island to explore ancient Greek settlements, a shipyard, and a watchtower. The day ends at Kızılada, formerly Lagusa, for a delightful dinner.
Day 4 | Fethiye
Morning, set off to Fethiye, the largest district in Muğla with a long history. Fethiye is a popular tourist region in Turkey known for its ancient history and welcoming atmosphere. Join the optional Safari tour to explore Yakapark, Saklıkent Waterfall, and Saklıkent Canyon.
Visit the traditional Tuesday market or have lunch on the boat in Samanlık Bay. Return to Fethiye port in the afternoon for the night. Explore the city by walking along the seaside promenade.
Day 5 | Göcek Island - Yassica Islands
After breakfast, we head to Göcek Island. While sailing among the stunning natural wonder islands, we stop at the Yassica Islands in the gulf. It's a protected area surrounded by pine and olive trees with a private beach. Lunch is served there. Enjoy swimming and diving in the clear waters.
For dinner and stay, we head to Göcek Island known for its port. It's a famous island in the region providing various options for a memorable evening. Dinner is served on the boat.
Day 6 | Bedri Rahmi Bay - Sarsala - Aga Limani
Visit magnificent bay named after Bedri Rahmi, a key figure in Blue Voyage culture. Originally Taşyaka, renamed in 1974 by poet Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu who engraved fish figure on a rock.
Then we turn our route to Sarsala Bay. Sarsala pier was built to ship grain from Dalaman and Ortaca plains to Egypt. Traces of the old pier and customs building can still be seen.
Reach Aga Port, path leads to ancient city of Lydai in 30-40 minutes. Overnight stay in this port, dinner served on the boat.
Day 7 | Kumlubük Bay - Paradise Island - Marmaris
Visit Kumlubük Bay, known for its natural cave with stalactites and stalagmites, near Kumlubük beach. Then explore the Amos city ruins and relax at Hisarburnu. Swim, have lunch, and proceed to Paradise Island for tea.
Paradise Island's Nimara Cave, used from paleolithic to bronze age, is a fascinating stop. Return to Marmaris Port by 16:00 for the night. Guests can enjoy Marmaris and nightlife, without dinner service onboard tonight.

(4.5)Blue Cruise Turquoise Coast: Beautiful, Safe, Relaxing
Our group of six friends had a wonderful time on this seven night blue cruise with Vigo Tours from Marmaris to Fethiye and back. Vigo contracted a boat with Barbaros Yachting for the week. The 4-person crew on our assigned ship, the Atlantis, was very professional and funny. Each pair of us shared a modest room which had its own bathroom with fresh water showers. The week started slow when there was a delay on day 1 and the boat wasn’t able to leave the Marmaris port as planned, so we spent the night at the very noisy Marmaris party-city port and no one slept much that night. But once we hit the waters on day 2, we were happy campers as we bopped from bay to bay. The captain always tried to find the best bays for swimming and gentle waves. The company could improve their communication a bit. For example, we only received the week itinerary and packing instructions two days before, and most of us were already in transit to Turkey and had already packed. The company offered two extra-pay excursions. There was a little miscommunication for the first one when it wasn’t clear that some passengers wanted to go and others didn’t, so no one ended up going in the end. Meals were three times a day plus tea time at 5pm. Food was tasty but could be improved. We had several vegetarians in our group and even though the chef made a lot of vegetable side options, there weren’t any vegetarian mains. Overall, we had an amazing time, and would recommend the experience to all!
