Explore the Heroic Landmarks of Gallipoli on a Full-Day Tour from Istanbul

This full-day tour from Istanbul will take you to Gallipoli, one of the most significant battlefields of World War I. The journey begins with a comfortable pick-up from your hotel in Istanbul, followed by a scenic drive to Gallipoli. You will travel in a fully air-conditioned coach, and the road trip takes around 5 hours with a brief stop for refreshments on the way.

Arriving at Gallipoli: Once you arrive at Gallipoli, you will visit some of the most historically significant sites related to the Gallipoli Campaign. The first stop is ANZAC Cove, where Australian and New Zealand forces made their first landing during the battle. The site is a deeply moving reminder of the sacrifice made by soldiers from the ANZAC (Australian and New Zealand Army Corps) forces.

You will continue your journey with visits to other key memorials, including the Lone Pine Australian Memorial, which commemorates the courage of Australian soldiers, and Johnston’s Jolly, where the remains of Turkish and ANZAC trenches are still visible, offering a powerful testament to the fierce combat that took place.

For participants taking part in the Istanbul Gallipoli Full Day Tour, pick-up will be from centrally located hotels on the European side of Istanbul. You can also make your own way to the departure point if preferred.

Pick-up will be at the main entrance of your hotel, typically near the security checkpoint. For smaller hotels without security checkpoints, pick-up will be directly in front of the hotel.
