Side Quad Safari Beyond the Resort Area

Most visitors experience Side through beaches, hotel complexes and historic sites. The quad safari takes place in a different environment, where paved roads gradually give way to dirt tracks, forest routes and open countryside terrain.

The route is located outside the main tourist areas and passes through landscapes that many visitors never see during a typical holiday.

Where the Asphalt Ends

The transition happens quickly. Within a short distance from the starting point, road surfaces change and the surroundings become less developed. Forest sections, dusty tracks and rural roads replace traffic and resort buildings.

Some parts of the route remain dry throughout the summer. Others change with seasonal conditions and may become muddy after rainfall.

A Landscape That Changes With the Seasons

The same route rarely looks identical throughout the year.

Summer Conditions

During the warmer months, the terrain is usually dry and dusty. Fine dust settles on vehicles, clothing and helmets as groups move through forest roads and open tracks.

After Rainfall

Rain can completely alter the character of certain sections. Tracks that are hard and dusty during summer may become softer and more uneven, with occasional muddy areas appearing along the route.

Surface conditions depend on weather, temperature and recent rainfall. As a result, each season creates slightly different driving conditions.

Driving a Quad Bike for the First Time

Many participants have never used a quad bike before arriving at the safari base.

The quad bikes are designed for straightforward operation, allowing first-time riders to become familiar with steering, acceleration and braking before entering the main route.

Dust, Mud and Visibility

Environmental conditions often become part of the experience.

Dust During Summer

In dry weather, vehicles travelling ahead may create visible dust clouds along certain sections of the route. Visibility changes constantly depending on wind conditions and spacing between riders.

Mud During Wetter Periods

After rainfall, some areas may contain mud and standing water. These sections are usually limited to specific parts of the route and vary according to seasonal conditions.

Tour Duration and Transfers

The riding session lasts approximately 1.5 hours. Hotel pickup and drop-off are included from many hotels in and around Side.
