You contacted us through our early morning private boat tour page for Oymapınar Lake. However, in November, the chances of seeing Brown Fish Owls at Oymapınar Lake are practically zero.

There is another option. We organize nighttime Brown Fish Owl watching tours in the mountains, along a small river or stream, using torchlight to locate and observe the owls. These tours are available throughout the year.

The tour also involves walking along the stream. The walk is not particularly strenuous, but some walking on natural terrain is required.

Weather conditions are important, of course. However, even on rainy days, it is possible to observe the owls as long as the weather is not too severe.

The observation area is approximately 110 kilometres from Side.

We usually begin the tour after dark, around 8:00–8:30 PM. Sometimes we find the owls almost immediately, while on other occasions it may take until midnight. Unfortunately, there are also nights when we cannot find them at all. As you already understand, wildlife sightings can never be guaranteed.

Regarding your preferred date, 14 November 2026, we can arrange this private tour for you, provided the weather conditions are not too severe.

Thank you for your message and your interest in seeing the Brown Fish Owl in Side.

We would recommend visiting between April and June, with April and May being particularly good months. The observation season generally runs from mid-March to the end of June.

We organise private birdwatching tours to Oymapınar Lake, where the Brown Fish Owl can be observed in its natural habitat. Our tours take place early in the morning with an experienced local bird guide.

Of course, as these are wild birds, sightings can never be guaranteed. However, visiting during the recommended season gives you a much better chance.

Since your travel dates are flexible, we would suggest planning your visit for April or May.

We would be delighted to welcome you and your four students on our Perge, Aspendos and Side tour on 18 November 2026.

The tour is very likely to operate on your requested date.

Hotel pickup and drop-off are included in the tour price. However, for hotels located in Antalya's Old Town (Kaleiçi), pickup and drop-off are arranged in front of McDonald's, next to Hadrian's Gate (Three Gates).

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer any additional discounts for student groups.

Reservations must be made online through our website by paying a deposit. The remaining balance can be paid in cash to the tour guide on the day of the tour.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time are eligible for a full refund of the deposit.

Group Size and Private Tour: Our regular group tours operate with a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 20 participants. Unfortunately, we cannot arrange a private tour exclusively for five people unless the total price for 10 participants is paid.

However, the regular group tour is very likely to operate on 18 November 2026, so joining the scheduled tour would be the more economical option.

The total price for 1 adult and 2 children is €200. Hotel pickup and drop-off from Eftalia Ocean are included in the price.

The fishing boat departs from Türkler Harbour.

The price also includes a simple but filling lunch, soft drinks, fishing equipment and bait.

You will spend approximately 4 hours at sea fishing. This time also includes sailing between different fishing spots if needed.

For 6 or 7 October, we need to check the latest weather and sea conditions tomorrow, Sunday, 4 October, before we can confirm the trip.

Fish Owls can still be observed in November, although the type of tour is different compared with the spring period. The best time for sightings around the lake by boat is generally from mid-April until the end of June. Later in the year, including November, sightings around the lake become much less reliable.

For November, we mainly recommend our nighttime mountain observation. In this area, Fish Owl pairs live along mountain streams and can be observed throughout the year, depending on weather conditions. The tour takes place in the evening and involves walking to selected observation points with torches.

All of our Fish Owl tours are arranged privately. If you already have approximate travel dates for November, please let us know and we can check the possibilities and availability for you.

The tour can also be booked for 1 person; however, the total price remains €250.

Hotel pickup and drop-off are also available from Belek, Antalya, and Alanya. The additional transfer fee is €120 in total, including pickup before the tour and return transfer to your hotel after the tour.
