Every year, visitors come from all over the world to watch the freely roaming horses in the region where the Taurus Mountains cut the Mediterranean and Anatolia like a knife, and on the Eynif Plain, which is at an altitude of 1000 meters and covers an area of 90,000 acres.

The number of horses that the residents of the region, who make a living with agriculture and animal husbandry in the plain, have increased over the years with the spread of mechanization in agriculture.

Yılkı horses are around 1,200 in the Eynif Plain. Domestic and foreign visitors see the foals with their families. About 50 puppies join this number each year. The numbers are increasing every year.

The very healthy appearance of the horses, which are the subject of various documentaries and which photographers come to the region to view, further increases the interest in these very interesting wild horses of the Taurus Mountains.

Tour details: We take our own horses from Side to Eynif plateau by private transport. There, we find the wild horses, prepare our own horses for riding, get on our horses, and join the wild horses. and during the day we do a horse riding tour with wild horses in their nature. Lunch is provided in Eynif plateau and is included in the price.

Pick Up Place

Pickup and drop-off is available from all hotels in and around Side and is included in the price. An extra pick-up and drop-off fee is charged from areas far from Side (Kizilot and Kızılağaç).

The hotel pick-up and drop off point is the main entrance gate of the hotels. This is the main entrance to the hotel, which is entered from the outside and has security control in some of the larger hotels.

Horses are the daughters of the winds!

No experience is required for horse riding. Horse riding is done with training and supervision for inexperienced riders. Experienced riders can gallop on the plain.

Wild horses do not have the habit of attacking people.

Early morning (06:00) hotel pick-up and arrival at the horse farm near Side. After a short preparation here, we arrive at Eynif plateau with a journey that will take approximately 60 km and prepare our horses.

We go to the wild horses' territory, and we mount our horses and join the wild horses. We ride horses throughout the day, resting from time to time. Lunch is served at a point close to wild horses in Eynif plateau.
