Guiding is in English; Turkish guiding is not provided on this tour. The webpage language does not change the guiding language. Allow approximately 10 hours including transfers. Traffic, hotel collection routes and seasonal arrangements may extend the day; no fixed return time is guaranteed.
Seasons and weather
The tour operates throughout the year. Darıca Zoo is offered only in summer; Lion Park and the aquarium are separate optional visits. The cable car depends on weather and operating availability. Water flow in Maşukiye may decrease during hot or dry periods.
Activities and extra charges
ATV, zipline, giant swing, cable car and paid attraction entrances are excluded from the standard package. Check the options offered that day, current prices and age, height or other participation requirements before paying. Not every additional activity is guaranteed to operate on the same day. Guests opting out must follow the guide’s meeting time.
What to bring and walking conditions
Wear comfortable shoes with good grip and season-appropriate clothing. Warm, water-resistant layers suit winter; sun protection suits warmer weather. Streamside paths may be wet or uneven. Discuss route suitability before booking if you have limited mobility.
Lunch and shopping
Lunch includes one bottle of water; other drinks cost extra. Advise dietary requirements in advance. Purchases at local-product stops are optional and excluded from the tour price.

Sapanca and Maşukiye Day Trip Itinerary
1. Hotel pickup and departure from Istanbul
After collection from your confirmed central hotel, travel towards Sapanca. Journey time depends on Istanbul traffic and the hotel collection route.
2. Sapanca Lake break
Enjoy free time for a lakeside walk, photographs and views over the water. The guide confirms the meeting place and departure time.
3. Optional attraction visits
Darıca Zoo is offered in summer; Lion Park and the aquarium are separate options depending on the day’s route and availability. Admission is excluded.
4. Mahmudiye and lunch
Take a nature break around Mahmudiye and enjoy the included lunch at the restaurant on the day’s itinerary. Optional activities such as zipline, when available, cost extra.
5. Maşukiye and optional activities
Spend time exploring the streamside setting and relaxing. ATV safari and giant swing experiences may be purchased separately if available within the day’s program.
6. Optional Kartepe cable car ascent
Guests may take the cable car up Kartepe for panoramic views at extra cost when the daily schedule and operating conditions allow. Views depend on the weather. Guests who opt out spend free time at the location indicated by the guide.
7. Local-product shopping
A local shopping stop offers Turkish delight, natural soaps, herbal products, honey, jams, nuts and regional specialties. Purchases are optional.
8. Return to Istanbul
Travel back to Istanbul and return to your eligible hotel. Visiting order, stop lengths and additional stops depend on weather, traffic, season and operating availability. Not all listed additional stops feature on every departure.
