Kekova is a hidden heaven surrounded by little islands and also an island of the very same name in between Demre and also Kaş. It is an area where nature and history are painted with the blue of the sea. Kekova's blue is so special that there is also a color interpretation as 'Kekova blue'.
Memorial Museum of St. Nicholas
St. Nicholas, known as Santa Claus in the world, was born in Patara, one of the important cities of the Lycian region and lived in Myra (Demre). St. Nicholas was a bishop in Myra. St. Nicholas' respected religious personality allowed him to become a saint after his death. After the death of Saint Nicholas, who was believed to be the savior of the poor, the protector of the sailors and students, the Myrans built a church in his name and put it in the sarcophagus.
