Daily Tours Activities
Price depends on selected options
If you do not like getting wet, this tour may not be for you. Water fights between the jeeps are common and are often mentioned in guest reviews.
The jeeps are open, so expect sun, wind and dust during the drive. A hat, sunglasses and sunscreen can be useful, especially in summer.
The roads are sometimes rough and bumpy. People with serious back or neck problems may find parts of the journey uncomfortable.
A waterproof pouch for your phone is worth bringing. Water and dust are the two things most likely to affect personal belongings during the day.
This is not a fast-paced off-road experience. Most of the day is spent driving through mountain roads, forests and villages in the Taurus Mountains.
If there is a swimming stop on your tour, you will be glad you brought swimwear and a towel.
The day begins with hotel pick-up in Belek before heading towards the foothills of the Taurus Mountains. Away from the coast, the scenery quickly changes from resort areas to forests, countryside roads and small villages.
Throughout the day, the jeeps follow mountain tracks and rural roads, passing through areas that most visitors would never see during a typical beach holiday.
Village Stop
One of the stops includes a visit to a traditional village house, where guests can take a short break and enjoy a local drink.
Mountain Views
There is also a stop at a higher viewpoint in the mountains, offering wide views across the surrounding countryside and valleys.
Lunch In The Mountains
Lunch is served at a local restaurant in the mountains. The menu usually includes a selection of Turkish dishes, salad, rice and seasonal ingredients.
Swimming Break
During the warmer months, there is usually time for a swim in a natural freshwater area before the return journey.
The safari covers a large area of the countryside around Belek. Most of the route follows unpaved mountain and village roads, with only a smaller section on normal paved roads.
The Belek Jeep Safari is more about spending a day in nature than extreme off-road driving. Mountain roads, village stops, lunch, swimming and the social atmosphere between the jeeps are all part of the experience.
