Health and wellness massage from Didim Turkish bath
As you start your holiday in Didim, experience the scrub and foam massage for deep cleansing of your skin and breathing in the Turkish bath. The health and wellness massage that you will feel with the scrub and foam massage will provide complete relaxation in your body, and your skin will be ready for a healthy sunbathing (a better tanning) with the scrub massage and soap bubble cleansing.
It is known that the Turkish bath concept has a history of 1000 years. Turkish bath culture includes very rich rituals. In ancient times, there were domed towns and village baths in every town and village, and everyone in that town used to go to these baths regularly. Although cleanliness was the main reason in the baths, which were visited on separate days as men and women, in fact, people met and chatted with each other in the baths, and even women who had a son of marriageable age would look for a girl for their son for marriage. In these baths, washing and cleaning was done with scrub and soap foam rather than massage. In these traditional Turkish baths, hot water was obtained by wood fire and the hot water flowed through the marble stage in the middle of the bath. There were hot and cold water taps on the walls around the marble stage and marble water containers called "Kurna".
There are no more traditional Turkish baths in cities and towns, except for Istanbul. And the Anatolian people no longer go to the baths like they used to. Today's baths, mostly in touristic towns, are designed with the same concept (dome and marble stage in the middle of the bath inside), but this time hot water is obtained either from solar energy or electrical energy or both.
In today's bath culture, scrub and foam massage continues, and additional applications such as sauna, steam room, aromatic oil body massage and face mask are made. However, many massage options from the Far East massage culture are also possible as an extra.
The most recommended feature of the Turkish bath is the scrub and foam massage, and unfortunately, it is unlikely that these two massages can be found anywhere else other than the typical Turkish bath. Massage types such as full body massage and face mask with aromatic oil are not included in our tour package, but can be purchased in the Turkish bath as an extra.
