The Manavgat River Cruise from Belek brings together a peaceful boat trip, a swimming break, local shopping and one of the region’s best-known natural landmarks. The tour operates every Monday and Thursday, when the large public bazaar takes place in Manavgat. Pick-up and drop-off are provided from hotels throughout the Belek area.

The day begins with collection from the main entrance of the hotel between approximately 08:00 and 08:30. After all participants have been picked up, the journey continues east towards Manavgat. The transfer from Belek is made in an air-conditioned vehicle and is included in the tour price.

Boat Trip on the Manavgat River

After arriving at the river, participants board the boat for a relaxing cruise through the green surroundings of Manavgat. The calm river, tree-lined banks and open views provide a pleasant contrast to the busy resort areas of Belek.

The boat travels towards the river delta, where the cool freshwater of the Manavgat River meets the warmer Mediterranean Sea. A break is taken near this point, allowing time for swimming, relaxing by the water or enjoying the scenery. Swimming conditions and the exact location of the break may change depending on the weather and conditions on the day.

Lunch is served on board and is included in the tour price. Drinks and any additional purchases made on the boat are paid for separately. Vegetarian or vegan meals may be available when requested in advance.

Free Time at Manavgat Bazaar

Following the boat trip, the tour continues to Manavgat Bazaar. This large public market is held every Monday and Thursday and attracts both local residents and visitors from the surrounding holiday regions.

The bazaar contains stalls selling clothing, textiles, spices, fresh produce, bags, accessories and souvenirs. Participants have free time to explore independently, compare prices or simply experience the atmosphere of a traditional local market. Bargaining is common, and carrying some cash is recommended because card payments may not be accepted at every stall.

Personal belongings, mobile phones and bags should be kept secure while walking through crowded areas.

Visit to Manavgat Waterfall

The programme also includes a visit to Manavgat Waterfall. Although the waterfall is not particularly high, its wide cascade and powerful flow make it one of the most recognisable natural attractions in the Antalya region.

There is time to walk around the viewing area, take photographs and enjoy the shaded surroundings. The entrance fee to Manavgat Waterfall is included in the tour price. Water levels may vary throughout the year, particularly during the hottest summer months.

Return to Belek Hotels

After the waterfall visit, the return transfer to Belek begins. Arrival at the hotels is generally expected between 17:30 and 18:00, although traffic, hotel locations and operational conditions may affect the exact time.

As this is a full-day excursion involving transfers, a boat trip and several different stops, it may feel tiring for pregnant guests, elderly participants and families travelling with babies. Guests should consider the full duration and weather conditions before making a reservation.
