What to Expect:
Enjoy a Relaxing Boat Trip from Side
Our Side Boat Trip begins at around 09:45 in the morning from the calm waters of the Manavgat River. As the boat cruises slowly toward the sea, you’ll enjoy beautiful views of nature and the local riverside life. Along the way, you might spot river turtles sunbathing on tree branches that stretch out over the water. You will also pass by small private boatyards and wooden shipyards that give you a glimpse of traditional craftsmanship.
The first stop is where the river meets the Mediterranean Sea. This area is special because the cold river water and the warm sea run side by side all the way to the pier. We stop here for about one and a half hours. It’s the perfect place for swimming – you can jump into the refreshing river or enjoy the waves of the sea. There’s also space to walk along the sandy beach, relax, or try out some exciting water sports. You can talk directly to the activity teams and agree on a price if you’re interested.
After the break, the boat leaves the pier and sails out to sea. Depending on the weather and sea conditions, we may head toward the coast of Side or to a small rocky island often called “Dolphin Island,” located in the direction of Alanya. With a bit of luck, you might see dolphins swimming nearby or spot the large sea turtles known as Caretta Caretta. These are unforgettable moments for many of our guests.
Throughout the trip, the boat will stop a few more times for swimming in the open sea. A delicious lunch is served on board, freshly prepared and perfect for enjoying while you take in the sea breeze. We kindly ask guests not to feed the dolphins or turtles, as human food can harm them.
The tour lasts about five hours and may take a bit longer during the long summer days. On the boat, you’ll find comfortable sunbathing areas on the upper deck and shaded places below for those who prefer to stay out of the sun.
This is a perfect day for families, couples, or solo travelers looking to relax, explore, and enjoy the beauty of Side and the Mediterranean coast.

- As the boat moves slowly along the river, you’ll see beautiful views, green nature, and turtles resting on tree branches.
- We stop where the river meets the sea. You can swim in the cold river or the warm sea – or try both! You can also walk along the beach or try fun water sports.
- After the break, the boat goes out to the sea. We may visit the coast of Side or go to a small rocky place called Dolphin Island.
- During the tour, we stop for swimming in the sea. You can jump into the clear blue water and enjoy the sun.
- A tasty lunch is served on the boat. Just relax, eat, and enjoy the view.
- The boat trip continues with more swim stops, music, and fun.
- Around 17:30: We return to the port and take you back to your hotel.
