Boat Trips Side Turkey - Dolphin Boat Trips

Wednesdays and Sundays: The boat tour is made on the shores of the Manavgat river, the place where the river empties into the sea, and around the ancient Side, and the boat may not go to Karaburun island. Dolphins and sea turtles (caretta carette) can be seen even if the boat does not go to Karaburun island.

On Fridays: The boat tour starts from the Manavgat river, with a swimming break in the sea and/or the river where the river meets the sea. Lunch is served here. and goes to Karaburun island.

In low seasons (April and May) the boat does not go to Karaburun island. In low seasons the same route is taken as on Wednesday and Sunday.

Sunbathing on the boat or on the beach in Manavgat Bosphorus, swimming in Manavgat River at 2 different points, a foam party on the boat and fun, and watching our lovely friends dolphins and sea turtles in the sea, a very enjoyable day awaits you!

On this full-day boat tour departing from the famous Manavgat river, the boat ride on the Manavgat river takes approximately 40 minutes to the point where the river meets the sea and there are many interesting sights along the river. And then we reach the shore called Manavgat Bosphorus, and here the first stop of our boat tour is made. Lunch is also served here on the boat.

Experience the pleasure of swimming in the icy river on one side and the warm Mediterranean on the other in Manavgat Bosphorus! This is a unique natural wonder that allows swimming in salt water and fresh water. Here the river and the sea run parallel along a long beach.

The water of the Manavgat river flowing from the mountains is quite cold even where it meets the sea, but swimming gives great pleasure. Get out of the sea and run to the ice-cold river and out of the river to the sea and enjoy the day.

Do not forget to explore the magnificent underwater in the sea with your goggles here. You can also rent jet skis on the river. Don't forget to taste the cheese and potato village bread made by village women between the river and the sea. Those who wish can spend time on the boat in the shade.

After the break in the Bosphorus, we will sail out of the river and sail east towards the Alanya side, towards the island of Karaburun, also called the dolphin island. While you are sailing in the sea for 1 hour and 15 minutes in the company of pleasing landscapes, do not miss watching the dolphins that will approach the boat carefully. By the way, you will also see the huge sea turtles caretta carettas. Please do not throw bread into the sea.

Side Dolphin Island Boat Trip takes you to the beautiful Karaburun peninsula, known for its striking nose-shaped indentation that stretches for about a kilometer into the sea. On the western side of the promontory is a picturesque bay with an island located about 300 meters inland. The island has a beautiful beach and is a popular destination for tourists. The bay offers various activities such as daily yacht tours, water sports and diving. In this bay, which has been the meeting place of maritime communities throughout history, there are many historical ruins to be discovered along the coast.

And here, we will take our 2nd swimming break in the bay where Dolphin Island is located. From here, anyone can swim to land or to the island of Karaburun. You can go on an underwater exploration with your snorkel goggles.

After a break of approximately 1 hour on Karaburun island, we will set sail for our return. On the way back to Manavgat River, if we are on a lucky day, we will be able to see dolphins and sea turtles trying to race with our boat again. Do not miss to enjoy the foam party on the boat while sailing towards the Manavgat river! At the end of our boat tour in the sea, we will take our 3rd break, which will take 20 minutes, at the place where the Manavgat river meets the sea.

Our tour will end at 17:30 at the Manavgat river pier.

Dolphin island Boat Trips Side Turkey

In low season (April and May) this tour may not go to Karaburun island depending on the weather conditions, but this does not constitute an obstacle to seeing dolphins in the sea during the tour. The boat tour lasts at the mouth of the Manavgat river and around Side with plenty of swimming breaks.

For snorkeling please bring your own snorkeling equipments.

We strongly advise you not to bring drinks to our boat from outside. All drinks on the boat are sold at reasonable prices.

What to bring:
Hat, sunglasses, towel and sun protection cream. Do not forget your solar cream, because the sun is very strong and you do not really feel it due to the wind, so there is a threat of sunburn at the finish of the day.
