MTB Mountain biking tour along the rural routes near Kaş and Kalkan

Reservation requires at least 2 people!

The excellent Turkish mediterranean climate makes it perfect for mountain biking practically all year round. There are many types of suitable landscapes from amazing coastal areas to high mountain areas such as Taurus mountains.

Our mountain bike tour starts with the transfer to the village of Sarıbelen at the back of the Taurus Mountains, dominating Kaş and Kalkan. There is no pick-up and drop-off service from the hotels, but there is a meeting point for Kaş and Kalkan.

The village of Sarıbelen, which is a charming Taurus mountain village, is 26 km from Kaş and 29 km from Kalkan. We're transferring here with a van. The journey to the village will take you through the roads surrounded by typical vegetation of the Taurus mountains, maquis and olive groves.

Our tour takes place on a safe and quiet route between Sarıbelen village and Kaş. We can see a few vehicles along the route. Before the tour, the necessary basic safety and technical information about our tour will be provided. We will then select the appropriate mountain bike for each cyclist and make the necessary adjustments for the bike and make a final bike check in the village.

And our fantastic mountain bike tour that will follow a magnificent nature route along the route and will last about 4 hours will start at 10:00 from the charming village of Sarıbelen.

There are a few uphill on our stunning bike route, but it's mostly downhill. We're gonna take a few breaks on our route for a snack. Drinks are free and unlimited throughout the tour. We will have lunch at the village house or at a local restaurant and then take a short rest. The last part of our route will be downhill towards Kaş harbor on an asphalt road.

Our tour will end in Kas harbor.

All of our mountain bike tour guides are well experienced mountain cyclists and are First Aid and CPR certified. We use two way radios and mobile phones for emergencies. Our office in Kaş is always in follow-up against unexpected situations. A support van and a truck with a bike trailer will be following our tour group along the route.

All mountain bike guests will be provided with state-of-the-art TREK-4300 model mountain bikes. All bikes are equipped with front suspension and mechanical disc brakes.

Kaş harbour will be the meeting place for those who will participate in the tour from Kalkan. There is no pick up and drop back service from Kalkan.

Mountain biking tour is not suitable for some children under 12 (except family tours)

There may be changes in the tour program and itinerary due to weather conditions, participants' experience and ages, and tour density. The new route will have the same characteristics. We can choose easier routes according to the age of the participants.

Another issue is that entry to forests is prohibited due to the risk of forest fire. If the ban is lifted in September, we plan to organize our mtb mountain bike tours as normal again.
