This natural sensation, which occurred in the area over the centuries, supplies a perfect sight.

Its attraction initially noticed by the Romans. The splendid Hierapolis old city was established near the travertine by the Romans.

Pamukkale would bewitch visitors at the first step. Under the spell of travertines Pergamon Kingdom developed the Hierapolis city neighboring 2.000 years ago. At that period Hierapolis worked as a thermal health center, as well as site visitors from various components of Anatolia flocked to the city to get spa treatments to find health and wellness or charm.

In our age, those who looks for spa or health and wellness they still dip in the thermal swimming pools in Pamukkale. You might also enjoy swimming the classic swimming pools as our forefathers did, and also take pleasure in the stunning view of the travertines.

the excursion lasts a long time unfortunately we spend more time in the bus than to see the sites to visit! the guides his friendly Emilie is very nice and outgoing, the food: it was not good I advise you to take something to eat with you. from belek to pumukale we left at 5:30 am arriving there at 2:30 pm and leaving pamukkale at 5:00 pm to be in belek at 9:30 pm. the place is beautiful! if it was to be done again I would rent a car it is more fun for a 2h30 trip because we waste a lot of time in wine tasting without interest for me, the salt lake is good but not the object of the visit. ... for safety the first driver started the bus while we were still looking for seats to sit down, and he braked suddenly and my 3 year old daughter fell. but emilia was nice she made stop the bus and find us places.
